As I hail from Manchester, the obvious choice of team for me was Manchester City. I held a season ticket at Maine Road in the early 90's and enjoyed probably the best spell of success City have had since the 70's.
Days of Keith Curle, Niall Quinn, David White and Terry Phelan seem a long time ago - but City being City there is never a dull moment.
I still watch them now and again, from their lowest ever ebb at York City to beating Newcastle United at St. James Park.
I also follow Altrincham 
with great interest and am off to see them at York next month.
