My radiator grille looked really tired from the front when you look at if from a afar, so I decided to take it off and clean it.

I found that it was tarnished from 150K miles worth of bugs and grime, so it needed a respray.

I had some paint left over from my letter respray, so I set to work!!

First off I removed the radiator.

Oh doesn't a Senny look naked without the radiator grille!!

I then put it in the sink and cleaned it. The grille is only made of plastic, and a good scrub didnt get it any cleaner.

I did leave it a little damp though, as I wanted a marble sort of effect when spraying it .

I then sprayed it using metallic spray paint. 2 coats.

And back on it went, Good as new!!

I like the grilles on Sennys. They are so unique, although some people think they are ugly.

Merc's have a similar grille - why should they have all the fun!!
